(211 words) Life passes quickly, so the most valuable resource is time, because you cannot earn it, you can only lose it. Or usefully. Why is the last option the most important?
It often happens that laziness attacks: you sit and do nothing, you look out the window. And at one moment you suddenly realize that the day has passed, and the window has darkened. And this day is irretrievably lost, he will never return. Minutes of idleness add up to hours, hours to days, days to years, and years to a lifetime. So old age comes, and behind your back a life in vain and disappointment in yourself. This is precisely the situation described in the "Tale of Lost Time" by E. Schwartz. The fairy-tale form allowed the writer to make the danger of burning time more obvious. The main character, third-grader Petya Zubov, loves to mess around. Once a boy turns into an old man, evil wizards took Petya’s time. The same thing happens with three more students. The children had to overcome many trials and learn to appreciate the minutes to return to childhood.
A fairy tale is, of course, a lie, but a hint in it: you need to spend days, hours and minutes of wakefulness properly, otherwise you won’t have time to look around as they pass by. In reality, there is no turning back, which is why it is so important to correctly allocate your time and not waste it. Otherwise, one day it may turn out that life is already running out, but nothing good has been done.
