(196 words) If you like lilacs, then your favorite artist is probably P.P. Konchalovsky, who is also called the "painter of lilacs." He wrote dozens of variations of his favorite plants, and during the flowering period every day he depicted lilacs from some new angle.
One of the artist’s most famous paintings, “Lilac in a Basket”, was painted in 1933 and received the second name - “Heroic”. What is so special about her, is it just a bouquet in a basket? What battle, victory can be dedicated to a still-life far from topical? The answer is simple: here the heroism of nature itself is celebrated, the triumph of beauty, harmony, happiness, in spite of any cataclysms and passions of people. The lilac has bloomed for millennia and still thrives as much, performing a feat of beauty every summer.
A dark table, a gray wall with dark spots - the situation itself is bleak. But when the lilac appeared, its delicate and pure flowers of purple, pink, blue, white, as if a gray corner had lit up, it was no longer dull, but joyfully looking at the picture in front of us. The entire gamut of shades of color, even named after the plant, lilac, combines with each other so harmoniously that a person recedes in admiration.
This picture expresses the joy of life: something beautiful, harmonious bursts into gray everyday life and illuminates everything around. Looking at the canvas, I want to smile and rejoice, this is his strength.
